My husband and I are going through something difficult at the moment, which I cannot freely divulge at this moment. I may be disappearing for a while if things don't go the way we wish them too on thursday (not that I've been posting regularly anyways). If you can spare positive thoughts our way, I'd be grateful.
Update and an Explanation:
My husband has picked one of the most stressful careers ever. I swear. I thought my master's was difficult, but becoming an army pilot in a program that should take four years but is crammed into less than a year takes the cake. He busted a check ride (these are used to evaluate a student pilots aptitude with the skills they are learning) on Monday and because he's not top of his class, he was almost dropped for that one mistake. His saving grace was that one, he's the pilot they want because he was prior infantry experience and two he wasn't suppose to take his check ride on monday because they KNEW he was having difficulty with some of the maneuvers. He's in the instrument phase right now and they are doing simulators. Joe has a different learning style (he is very hands on and you can't feel things in the simulator) and the Instructor Pilot (IP) he had wasn't teaching him well (they were clashing bad, to the point that Joe's self confidence was pretty much whittled to nothing). Well, he was granted three extra hours of training and a new IP (one that has so much experience, he could teach a monkey to fly).
He was allowed to retake his check ride today and I just got a text. He passed.
I am so relieved. I think I can eat something now without wanting to throw it up and I might actually get some sleep tonight.
Thank you for the well wishes.

This is my way of saying an immediate thank you to those who stop by and take a look around as well as provide me with feedback.
