Living

Fri May 20, 2011, 7:21 PM
It's been an interesting few weeks. I've been rather unmotivated... I don't even want to count the unfinished projects currently sitting between two different computers. My husband is leaving for Ft. Rucker this next thursday. I will be following him towards the end of August. Or that's the plan. With it just being me and the animals, I'm going to have a ton of free time. Whether or not I will be motivated to do anything with that extra free time is still to be seen. I do have plans, but most of plans end up hanging in limbo. Work is extremely busy and stressful right now. We are short people, so everyone is doing the equivalent work of three people. If things keep up, I will burn out. It's only a matter of time.

I decided, based on feedback from the previous entry, I won't be separating out my account into multiple accounts. Sometimes getting useful feedback really helps define how or what the course of action should be, thanks to all of you for helping out

I know that feeling. I feel like this total loser because I haven't done anything productive all week. Feeling a bit of a lull after school ended. So many things I want to work on I feel like a deer in headlights ;)

You're not a loser. ;P Cool people take breaks lol

I did do a few things this weekend, but nothing that is satisfying enough to share. I hate when that happens!

Well you know what I mean ;) I'm doing some more work on my texture set, trying to refine things somewhat so I can sell it. I also seemed to have become obsessed with trying to model a realistic human.

Is that why it was rejected the last time?

Good luck with the human modeling... I'm still trying to motivate myself to start with some simple things before getting into anything that complex. At least, that's what I've been trying to motivate myself to do :giggle:

They didn't even look at it before rejecting it, that was clearly obvious because the reason they gave was that it wasn't unique. I have another vendor helping me and she has pointed out a couple of things that would have legitimately been cause for it to be rejected. There are a lot of i's to dot and t's to cross that's for sure.

Thanks! I could try to model everything that's on my desk, but a human model might be a little easier lol

I'm glad you got another vendor to help you. I've heard some negative things about Renderosity and the difficulty people can have with them. (Never mind that they have such a huge selection of items). Hopefully you get everything figured out then :)

I pretty much am not motivated with Rendo. All began with a few of their contests, I saw some of the unfair things that go on.

Moving a little slow right now, but I'll pick up over the next few days, long weekend ahead :woohoo:
