Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

So Many Changes

There has been a lacking of updates from me. Some things have occurred that I cannot go into depth on for the www to see. Suffice it to say, I'm relocating to a new office two states over and having to go through the hassle of moving. The last few days have been extremely stressful. Throw in my masters and I really have to wonder how my plate became to heavy for me to pick up.

I'm alright though and am working on small art related projects on the side. It's just a matter of finding time to finish things and then upload them. And hoping, desperately, that life will stop throwing me rotten tomatoes.

Hopefully life settles down a little bit for you, although mine never seems to. At least I haven't had to move two states. Trying to think it I'd want to move to any that are two states away, hmmm nope. Maybe the other side of the country perhaps lol
